Digital Shuzou
A brand identity which summarises 2000 years of culture with the help of generative Ai.
Digital Suzhou is a government initiative which remodelled a previously poverty stricken district into a tech hub for creatives founders. But the problem was: there was no budget for a marketing campaign. So we utilised generative Ai for our branding and made the process into the actual marketing campaign.
Challenge
Create a new brand for a tech hub and make sure that creative founders are excited about it.
Insight
Creative techies love everything driven by algorithms. Particularly when it creates something worth showing.
Idea
Utilising generativ Ai in 2017, we managed to summarise the content of city and museum archives holding 2000 years of content. From paintings, to old scriptures, our algorithm scanned each and every shape found and summarised it into a logo. We documented that process and made the branding itself into the campaign for the hub.
